Overall View:

A intricately woven story that boasts a creative and unique plot line, Hooper brings fans of The Kinderly Series to another world as she weaves a tale of love, challenges, and hope.  This book is simply "perfect. Then imagine that you started reading the most interesting and fascinating comic book ever created. You fell in love with some characters, you hated others. Endless plots unfolded and every one was an emotional page-turner you couldn't read fast enough because you had to know what was going to happen next. You felt like the world would end if you didn't find out how the story ended. But then you get to the end and there was no end. The author didn't finish it. You don't know if good or evil won. You don't know if the guy got the girl. You don't know any of the answers to all your important questions." --Harmony, Taking Back Forever  This was exactly what happened when Karen Amanda Hooper left a devastating cliff hangers.  For those who hate epic cliff hangers, I urge you to read the book after the third one has come out.

The book expanded on the information that was mentioned in the first book.  The characters were even more developed with the appearance of Gregory and Harmony's POV included with Maryah's narrative.  This allowed greater in depth understanding of the characters.

Characters:

Gregory -
Description of Character: Gregory is a member of the Kinderly who was captured and hypnotized to help Dedrick.  He has the ability to read people's thoughts.  His partner in the Kinderly is Harmony.  His son in his past life (pre-hypnotized state) is Carson.

Review of Character: This character was the most mysterious one as he was not fully mentioned in the first book.  Gregory was represented as a kind and loving father as well as a great husband to Harmony. He seems to be a very calm person.

Harmony -

Description of Character: A character portrayed as having a tough and hard personality.  In her past life she was Carson's mother.  She has the ability to speak to those who have passed away.

Review of Character: I loved how Harmony was so strong but when it came to the person she loved she would do everything in her power to save them.  She was an element in the book that made the story so realistic.
